Ongoing projects on Silver Creek are essential to its long‑term health and resilience. By combining sound science with strong cooperation from landowners, we can make informed, thoughtful conservation decisions that benefit Silver Creek and the surrounding lands. Current and ongoing efforts focus on water conservation, sediment removal, and riparian restoration.

The Silver Creek Alliance is deeply committed to supporting these efforts through data collection, public awareness, project design, and financial assistance whenever possible. We work closely with landowners and partner organizations and are ready to offer help in any way we can.

Highlighted on this page are several projects we are currently involved in, as well as others we are proposing for the future. Additional initiatives we are pursuing include:

• Working with growers, farmers, and landowners to understand and adopt improved water and land‑use practices that reduce erosion and limit airborne dust
• Enhancing stream segments where fish passage is currently restricted
• Advancing restoration efforts at Kilpatrick/Purdy Pond
• Assisting landowners through education and outreach to establish buffer zones along Silver Creek that help prevent new sediment accumulation
