Projects on Silver Creek

On-going projects for Silver Creek are a constant need. Using solid science and landowner cooperation, we can work together in wise decision-making for conservation projects that impact Silver Creek and the surrounding lands. Some of the ongoing projects include water conservation, removal of sediment and riparian restoration. Silver Creek Alliance is deeply committed to assisting in data collection, awareness, design  and assisting in funding when we can to further sound projects. We will offer assistance in any way we can to landowners and organizations that need our help. We have listed on this page some of the projects we are currently involved in and are proposing in the future. Some projects we will also be pursuing are,

• Reaching out to growers, farmers and landowners in understanding new methods of water and land use and ways to avoid erosion and limit airborne dust issues.
• Enhancing areas that currently limit fish passage.
• Loving Creek and RR Ranch improvements.
• Assisting landowners through awareness and education in creating buffer zones along the banks of Silver Creek to limit new sediment buildup in Silver Creek.
